Where is Tortoise Storage located?
Our facility is located at 75013 N State Hwy 289, Pottsboro, TX 75076 behind the Fink Liquor and the Harbor Ship Store.
What are the dimensions of the units?
We offer enclosed units in two sizes: 12' (width) x30' (depth) x9' (height) and 12' (width) x40' (depth) x11' (height) (availability of the 12x40 units is rare). We also offer outdoor, uncovered parking, with spaces approximately 12'x45' in size. We do not offer any other size storage spaces.
What are you office hours?
Our virtual office is open 24/7. Our customer service hours are every day (except national holidays) from 10 am - 6 pm CST.
When can I access my storage?
Customers who have a space rented with us will always be able to access their units 24/7. It’s your storage, so we believe you should be able to get to it whenever you need to. Per Texas law, we do not permit living in units or overnight stays. Any suspicious/illegal activity by any person in our facility will be immediately evicted.
Do you offer drive-up access?
Yes! All units are accessible to drive-up. While some of the 12x40 units may offer drive through access, most units require backing up to park your boat, RV or trailer.
How safe is your facility?
Our facility is surrounded with security cameras that monitor the area in addition to a fence and computerized gate that customers have access into using their code.
Are there any power sources in the storage units?
All of our units have a light and power outlet. Just be safe plugging in only what you need.
Do you offer any water to rinse off boats?
We do not have any water available on-site for that purpose.
What can I store in your units?
You can store your boat, RV, trailer or vehicle. Our units are not made for storing personal items, such as furniture, clothes, etc. We do not permit living in or overnight stays in our units, per Texas law.
Do you offer storage for vehicle parking?
Here at Tortoise Storage we have vehicle parking for RVs, cars and boats. If you can’t find any additional space at home, get in touch with us to learn about our covered and uncovered parking.
What other cities do you serve?
We serve Pottsboro, TX and several other surrounding cities including Sherman, Denison and Whitesboro. We’re here to help anyone in Texas who needs a place to store as well, just let us know.
How can I pay my bill?
We offer convenient online payment. Pay your bill right from home or from wherever you have access to the internet.
